The latest version of Deltek Maconomy 2.6.2 improves efficiency with an improved web interface and Resource Planning power. This update improves user experience by introducing basic financial features and network client enhancements.

Network Client - User Experience:
- Prepare for future optimized operations as we’re constantly working to make Maconomy a fully web-based solution designed to optimize your workflow and achieve success.
- This version of the web client includes key project accounting functionality that is essential for professional services companies. Process support for Accounts Payable proces, banking, sales orders and subscription orders is available within the Web Client.
Assistants - User Experience:
- This version extends the functionality of the assistant, introduced in the 2.6.1 update, to other work areas such as Job Revenue Recognition, WIP Evaluation, Job Invoice Allocation, and Invoice Selection. Assistants are side panels that expand from the right side of a workspace tab or sub-tab. They provide an easily accessible place to store secondary but still important information about the current record, transaction or line.
Resource Management - People Planner 4.5:
- Maconomy provides seamless access to significant resource planning enhancements in People Planner 4.5, enabling your team to be more efficient and productive.
- Users can now move or change the stretching. Gantt Sticks associated with project and tasks by dragging and dropping them on the timeline, which automatically assigns related bookings and changes scheduled start/end dates. In addition, users can automatically allocate a certain number of hours evenly over the duration of a task for one or more resources with a single click, as well as cut, copy, and paste existing bookings.
Regulatory updates:
- Like any Maconomy update, version 2.6.2 includes necessary updates to support customers with their country’s regulatory compliance requirements.
- This release includes Pagero integration updates in preparation for future country integrations and mapping table updates.
- To reflect HMRC mandated changes, this release includes updated fraud headers to support compliance with MTD (UK Legislation).
